What we process and why

Site visits. Our host, Cloudflare, technically processes your IP address and browser data to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a secure, working site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and UK GDPR).

Cookie-free statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying anyone.

Google Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read and improve the content. Google processes usage data and a browser identifier. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and UK GDPR; for UK visitors also regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations), which you can withdraw at any time.

Contact form and email. If you contact us, we process your name, email address and message to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and UK GDPR). We keep messages for up to 12 months after the conversation ends, unless the law requires longer.

Clicks to shops. When you click a shop link we only record which offer and which page, without your IP address or any personal data.

Goal finder preferences. The goal finder stores your selection in your browser's local storage. That data is not sent to our servers.

Processors and recipients

Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, database, cookie-free statistics).
Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC (Google Analytics, only with consent).
When you click an affiliate link, the shop and the affiliate network (Amazon) process data under their own privacy policies, as independent controllers.
We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for advertising.

International transfers

We are based in Spain; the UK recognises the EU as providing adequate protection for personal data. Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States. Both companies participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, which the European Commission and the UK government recognise as providing adequate protection.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to hello@nutrimetrics.eu. In the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or the supervisory authority where you live.

Automated decisions

We do not make automated decisions or create profiles that have legal effects on you.
